Shane McMahon Is The Key To Dolph Ziggler Finally Getting His WrestleMania Moment

Dolph Ziggler did to Triple H exactly what WWE wishes Roman Reigns could do.
On the March 14 edition of Monday Night Raw, Ziggler stepped up to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon of The Authority, and the crowd cheered Ziggler wildly as he put The Authority in its place and got himself a huge match against Triple H, making it clear in the process that he is the babyface while Triple H is the heel.

Ziggler’s appearance in a storyline involving Triple H was certainly a bit random. It was totally unexpected, too. But it worked.
Ziggler, despite being a complete afterthought on the road to WrestleMania 32 and despite ultimately losing to Triple H, was able to get the WWE fans behind him in a way that Reigns has clearly failed to do. And the WWE must capitalize on it before it’s too late.
But how? Two words: Shane McMahon.
On March 7, Dolph Ziggler dropped an interesting tweet , saying it was “cool” to see Shane McMahon make his triumphant WWE return and pledge to end The Authority. Whether part of a storyline or not, the tweet was deleted by Ziggler, who was forced to face three members of the League of Nations on Raw that night. Unsurprisingly, Ziggler lost, but it may have set the wheels in motion for the most important storyline of “The Showoff’s” career.
Ziggler has long been an”Internet darling” among wrestling fans, someone who, through all the bad booking and start-and-stop pushes, still has a large and very vocal fan base. Of course, this still hasn’t solidified as a main eventer, and heading into WrestleMania 32, he has yet to have a singles match at WrestleMania even though he’s been on the main roster for roughly a decade.
Yet, recent happenings suggest that Ziggler’s involvement with the McMahon family drama will continue, and it isn’t Triple H, Vince McMahon or even Ziggler himself who holds the key to what should be a career-defining moment for Ziggler at WrestleMania 32.
